Gift Class

We created these Christmas Ornaments in Gift Class. For the three top ornaments we used the Fiskars Med. Circle Squeeze Punch and punched out about 40 circles, inked the edges, and Mog Podged them on a clear glass ornament. For the bottom ones we used the Walk in my Garden Cart and cut three different sized flowers with the Circut. The small and large size were cut from the same pattern paper and the medium size cut from a matching color cardstock. We used White Ball Pins to add the flowers to a styrofoam ball. We had a great time in class! Next Class is Scrap Class Wed. Dec. 16th. @ 6:30.

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa, brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace?
Or a Cricut, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa, " I said.
"You know....good little girls, Should be in their beds."
"I know I should Santa, And now I've got caught.
But I was just so excited, To see what you brought."
"Well, let's take a look, In this room where you work.
He shook his head quickly, And left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim, As he put it in gear.
"You've got enough crap,
I'll see you next year!"

Craft Show Items

Here are a few photos of the items I created for a recent Craft Show.

Candy Boxes

Photo Holder. Not the best photo...I used a Jumbo Binder Clip and the Flower that we learned about from the last Scrap Class, a pretty jewel in the middle, inked and stickled the edges to make the cuteste Photo Holder!! These and the Snowman Ornament we the hit of my booth!

Santa ornaments. Used a strip of black, cut the buckle with the Cricut, and stickled it.

Candy Cane Holders. I designed it using the Design Studio and cut it with Cricut. Hard to see but I also embossed the Hats with the Cuttlebug

Snowman Ornament. This one was fun...I used Staz-on ink, permanent marker and a little stickles for the piece of acetate (transparency) that is inside the ornament.

Bookmark. I used scraps and punched, stamped, stickled, and inked to created these cute bookmarks.

Christmas Fudge. It has a cute poem about how this candy bar is this years Christmas Fudge.

Calendar. I printed out the calendar from an online free site. The background is a coaster from Outback, and the stand is a Medium Binder clip.

I have a few of these items left for sale if anyone is interested. Thanks for looking, the Craft Show was a success!!

Pink Paislee anyone??

Gotta love Pink Paislee right?? Well I sure do and so did the gals at Scrap Class last night. We created a beautiful LO using Pink Paislee's Enchanting Line. And I also taught them how to create a beautiful paper flower that I saw a tutorial about, on Pink Paislee's site. Hailey was the only one that forgot to say "abracadabra" before she unfolded, which turned her flower into many pretty petals! LOL But she got it the second time around and along with the others, did a fantastic job! Everyone had plenty of leftovers so this weeks RAK Challenge is to create a matching LO. Donna was on such a roll that she finished BOTH LO's before class was over. Her LO and Karens RAK Challenge from last week will be posted on the Yahoo Group.
Due to size we have another Scrap Class tonight and will continue to have Scrap Class on the first and third Wednesdays AND Thursdays of the month. If you are interested in attending, email or comment here to reserve your spot.
Here is a pic of the LO we created and one of some of the gals working on their LO.
